Due to my current “fedupness” with Lowe’s and it’s complete pantry of lies…I decided to find a new job. About a month ago, I got an email asking me if I’d be willing to take on an Internship with CollegePlus!…I said yes. Well, I just got the email stating that my start date is 7/20/2009!…YES, you read that right. I will be moving down there within two weeks(most likely the weekend before).

I’m back from the land of humidity…
It was a good trip, it was a tiring trip, it was short trip…and I’d do it over and over again if I could.
Thanks goes to Joe for picking me up at the airport, to Peter and Kelly for a bed and food, to Mr. and Mrs. Brown for all the fun at their place, and to God for blessing this earth with such wonderful people. a few pictures may follow…just MAY.

Well, I’ve book my flight for NC…May 21-26. The plan is for this trip to open up my eyes to some other options in the Military/Security realm. And to Help Peter with some stuff going on around his place.
As for Lowe’s….
The “Boss Man” just informed me that I’m 40hrs a week till farther noticed! I’m very happy with that…just hoping they don’t put me on all the “you know what” hours. But if they do…at least it’s work.

Ok, I’ve gotten an hour here and there…but no more then that. The “Not getting sleep” does bother me, it’s the physical intense work AND no sleep. The flooring department is going through some emotional battles with but stupid stuff( I try to stay out of it).
BTW, our store “2545″ is the 2nd best in the state, and usually hits in the top brackets in the region(comes at a high cost sometimes though).

It’s an UPDATE!!!!!
I took that ASVAB test last friday…and scored and 88!
The average score is 45-55…so I’m extremely happy. The next step is to take the physical, but I have some paperwork before I can do that. Also…I’ve got to find out more info on Officers School, and find out what I need to do that make that an option. At this point the only thing holding me back is….my ankle(having injured it awhile back). I’m able to run on it…jump etc..but for how long is the key. At the physical I’ll mention it to the Doctors and see if they have a problem with it.

Prayer…

Tomorrow, at 3pm cst, I will be taking the ASVAB test (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery). I have not been able to study at all for this test, but hope that if it’s the Lords will that I go in the MARINES direction…I will pass with a good grade. I’m hoping to score 95 in all four sections(can’t remember all the different ones), but seeing I’m not a mechanic, or electronic geek…IT WILL BE VVEEERRRY INTERESTING. The other day, I jokingly told the recruiter that I hoped they’d test me on my “Outlook” and “Excel” knowledge, but unfortunately they don’t 
At the moment, I have a million things running through my mind, but am lifting it all up to the Lord in prayer. Again, please be praying that the Lords will be done, and that if he desires I go in this direction nothing will stand in my way…But if this isn’t his will, that I will clearly see it before I’ve gone to far.
